Switching Your Business Banking to Centric Bank

Thank you for choosing Centric Bank! We know change is never easy, and switching bank accounts for your business can seem daunting. 1. Begin using your new Centric Bank account

A few steps to get started:

  • Order checks – provide a voided check from your old bank account so that we can order the correct checks for your new Centric Bank account.
  • Login to Online Banking with the credentials provided when you opened your account.
  • Download our mobile app, where you can access your money securely from anywhere. Login using the Online Banking credentials provided when you opened your account.

2. Stop using your old account

  • Destroy checks, debit cards, deposit slips
  • Keep your old account open and appropriately funded until all outstanding checks have cleared, and all automatic payments and transactions have switched over to your new Centric Bank account.

3. Switch your automatic (recurring) payments TO & FROM your account

Switch any automatic payments to and from your new Centric account. It’s best to complete this step within 30 days of opening your Centric account to help minimize interruptions.

4. Notify professional service providers of the account change

Inform your professional services providers that you’re switching to Centric Bank. It’s best to complete this step within 30 days of opening your Centric account to help minimize interruptions.

5. Cash Management

Cash Management services help you manage your finances efficiently and protect your accounts against fraudulent activity. Please contact our Cash Management team directly at 717.686.4320 to facilitate the setup of these services with Centric Bank.

6. Close Your Old Account

Before you close out your prior account, make sure all transactions have cleared. This includes any automatic payments and direct deposits, purchases and checks.

After all transactions have cleared, you can contact your prior bank and close your account. The remaining balance can be sent to you for deposit into your new Centric Bank account.
