Making the Switch to Centric
Thank you for opening your account with Centric Bank! We know change is never easy, and switching bank accounts can seem daunting. So, we’ll try to make it a little easier for you with this checklist! If you need assistance or have questions, please reach out to us…we will be happy to help!

1. Download the Centric Bank Mobile Banking App
Download the Centric Bank Mobile App and enjoy the safe and convenient way to manage your finances from anywhere! Login using the online banking info provided when you opened your account.
2. Switch your direct deposits
You will need:
Our Routing Number: 031315269
Your Account Number
Make a list of your direct deposits and check them off when you’ve set them up with Centric.
Do you have these direct deposits?
- Your employer
- Social Security/Government
- Child Support/Court-issued
- Retirement or Pension
- Automatic Transfers
3. Switch your automatic payments
You will need your account number
Make a list of your automatic payments and check them off when you’ve set them up with Centric.
Some automatic payments you may have:
- Mortgage or rent
- Car payment
- Auto/Homeowners Insurance
- Credit cards
- Memberships – gym, clubs
- Streaming services
4. Bill Payments
Set up your payees in Online Banking or on the Centric Bank mobile app.
After you’ve got everything set up, cancel all bill pay accounts from your prior bank.
5. Mobile Payments
Link your new Centric account to any mobile payment platforms that you use including Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, etc.
6. Closing Your Old Account
Before you close out your prior account, make sure all transactions have cleared. This includes any automatic payments in process, debit card purchases and checks.
After all transactions have cleared, you can contact your prior bank and close your account. The remaining balance can be sent to you for deposit into your new Centric Bank account.
