Sandra Schultz to be Recognized for Achievement in the 2018 Women of Influence Awards

Schultz, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, has been named an award recipient of the 2018 Women of Influence awards.  Sandie was selected as one of the top nominees by the judges for her leadership and achievements within Centric Bank, as well as her contributions to the community.

“Sandie’s leadership and dedication to Centric Bank and the communities we serve deserves recognition, and it was my pleasure to nominate her for the Women of Influence Awards,” said Patricia A. Husic, President & CEO of Centric Bank. “She has been instrumental in the growth of the Bank, and her work ethic and integrity set the standard for her team.”

Sandie has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Centric Bank since September 2008. She has over 28 years of experience in finance and the banking industry. She received her MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2007 and is a graduate of Western Maryland College, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics.

In 2016 and 2017 Sandie was recognized nationally for her role in one of five “Top Teams” in U.S. Banking by American Banker, an award she shared with the four other women who comprise the senior leadership team at Centric Bank. She was also a finalist for the CFO Award in Central Penn Business Journal’s Executive Management Awards.

Sandie currently serves as a Trustee for the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, as well as its Finance Committee, Investment Committee and Open Doors Committee.  She is a member of the Financial Managers Society and has served as Treasurer for the Parents Association of Harrisburg Academy for the past three years. She previously served as Township Auditor for four years in Liberty Township, Adams County. She was a member of the National Association of Professional women; and she is a past volunteer for the Adams County SPCA.

The Women of Influence awards recognizes 30 women leaders in the mid-state who are influential in their companies, industries and communities, and have solid reputations based on their experience, integrity, leadership, and accomplishments.

As an award winner, Sandie will be recognized at an event on Monday, June 18 at the Hilton Harrisburg, as well as in a publication to be inserted in the June 22 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
