Leslie Meck, Chief Retail Officer at Centric Bank, to serve as Director at PA Bankers Association School of Banking
Harrisburg (June 7, 2019) – Leslie Meck, Senior Vice President, Chief Retail Officer at Centric Bank is serving as Director for this year’s Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Banking.
The School of Banking takes place from June 9 to June 13, 2019, at the Penn Stater in State College and is designed for bankers beginning their careers as well as those looking to take the next step in advancing their careers. Equivalent to 100-level college course study, the school focuses on four primary areas of banking: leadership, sales and marketing, bank environment and finance. Meck previously served as Assistant Director last year, and has served on the School’s Advisory Committee since 2015.
In her position as Director, Meck will serve as a mentor to the students as well as help vet the faculty and the curriculum. She is serving for two years on the Professional Development Policy Committee, which assesses the school’s success after the school closes for the year.

Meck has held the position of Chief Retail Officer at Centric Bank since 2011 and has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. In 2016 and 2017 she was recognized nationally for her role in one of the “Top Teams” in U.S. Banking by American Banker, an award she shared with the other women who comprise the senior leadership team at Centric Bank. In 2017, Meck was an honoree of the YWCA Greater Harrisburg’s Tribute to Women of Excellence, along with 31 other extraordinary women, for her contributions to our region, both professionally and philanthropically.
Meck is currently serving on the Advisory Board and Programs Committee for the Harrisburg Salvation Army, and has been Co-Chair for the United Way of the Capital Region’s Day of Caring for over ten years.
