Centric Bank Hosts Ribbon Cutting at New Executive and Operations Center February 21

New Centric Bank LocationHarrisburg, Pennsylvania (February 19, 2018) – Centric Bank has announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Executive and Operations Center, its seventh location in Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, February 21, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 1826 Good Hope Road, Enola, Cumberland County. The public is welcome.

“We’re excited to make our space official with a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration alongside our team, customers, business leaders, veterans, and state and local officials. Our expansion into Cumberland County and our growth in services and workforce is an economic driver for small businesses in our region. Celebrating this milestone during National Entrepreneurship Week is perfect timing. More than 80% of our core customer base is fueling the small business and entrepreneurship growth in our markets,” says Patricia (Patti) A. Husic, President & CEO. The Executive and Operations Center officially opened on November 13, 2017 and occupies more than 23,000 SF of the building’s total 30,000 SF.

Joining the Centric Bank team will be West Shore Chamber of Commerce President George Book, Senator Mike Regan, Representative Greg Rothman, Harrisburg Regional Chamber/CREDC President David Black, Cumberland County Commissioners, Hampden Township Commissioners, Centric Bank board members, shareholders, entrepreneurs, and community friends.

"Centric’s 108 employees are our greatest asset, and our new space emphasizes a commitment to a collaborative and innovative work environment. Our health and wellness facility offers new opportunities to add fitness to the workday. Any investment in the health of our employees is a smart investment in their families and our community," says Husic.

Recently named a Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies by the Central Penn Business Journal for the fifth time, Centric Bank’s expansion is a clear message to customers and the community that they are proud investors in the region and passionate about remaining a progressive, independent, community bank.

Centric Bank will make a formal donation to the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial Park, a 17-acre multi-use park in Hampden Township. Receiving this community contribution will be Robert Weed, treasurer, Hampden Township Veterans Recognition Committee, and Gary Coburn, board chair.

“This gift to our neighbors is a first step in creating new partnerships in the community we now call home,” says Husic. “We live where we lend and one of our guiding principles is to contribute to the community, not only financially but with our service and support. We are honored to donate to the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial Park and highlight the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women in our military.”

In celebration of National Entrepreneurship Week on February 17-24, Centric Bank will also highlight the innovators, differentiators, and disruptors—the small business owners and entrepreneurs they finance who represent the more than 999,000 small businesses in the Commonwealth.

Guided tours of the new facility and refreshments will be served. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be postponed to Friday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m.
